Welcome! If you’re reading this, you’re interested in joining a crew of adventure seeking, passport stamping, adrenaline dumping, comfort zone crushing moto-heads on the upcoming Thailand Moto Retreat. Our mission is to challenge people for the better and this winter we take that journey to the jungles of Chiang Mai with some new good friends and motorcycles.

You’ll start your days with group breakfasts prepared by a house chef, led through various thought-provoking exercises, guided on motorcycle rides though Chiang Mai’s exotic backroads and temples, crush some Thai food, visit some ‘gram-worthy local attractions, and return to a lush 10-bedroom villa. All included. And though the perks are excellent, our focus is on the experience you’ll talk about until you get asked to please stop talking about it. Our goal here is to have a wildly good time.

What to Know

The Checklist

Gotta Have:

  • A valid passport

    • Must be valid for at least six months after the trip.

    • You will receive a free 30-day tourist visa upon arrival at the airport.

  • An International Driver License

    • Don’t have one? No sweat. Just check out this site, AAA has a step-by-step on how to get one.

  • Proof of purchased travel insurance with your flight.

Booking Flights:

  • Please book your flight to Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX)

  • Check in is January 26th, any time is fine, try to make it in before dinner!

  • Check out is February 1st before 11am

  • Let us know what time you arrive, we’ll have a driver pick you up

  • You MUST book Travel Insurance with your flight. It’s a dangerous world out there and we want to make sure you’re taken care of

  • For the cheapest flights, we’ve had our best luck booking with KAYAK flying out of LAX

What to Pack:

  • Passport.

  • Summer clothes. The temperature will be a glorious mid 70s to low 90s (maybe one light jacket).

  • Preferred safe riding clothes

  • Helmets are provided (you’re welcome to bring your own helmet).

  • Riding shoes (no flip flops while riding, every toe matters).

  • Swimsuit for the pool.

  • Power converter (two pin European plug).

  • Retreat Journal (we’ll be sending you one of these in the mail).

Road Rules:

  • Horns will be beeping, animals will be crossing, somehow nobody and everybody has the right of way. Expect a little chaos on the road, just gotta try and roll with it.

  • In Thailand, they (mostly) drive on the left side of the road.

  • It’s a tropical jungle along the equator which means the weather can change at any time. Always prepare for a little rain, just in case.

  • If you get pulled over, do the same as you would at home. Pull off to the side of the road, kill the engine, be respectful and polite. It’s also best to carry a little cash (not too much), it helps make minor problems go away.

  • Always remember: Motorcycles are dangerous.

House Rules:

  • Be humble. We’re guests in someone else’s home and country. The goal is to have fun in a relaxing-yet-riding-motorcycles-with-friends-without-dying-while-pushing-each-other-to-be-better kinda way. If you’re looking to get wild and party hard, this ain’t the trip.

  • Be honest. We’re on the same team with the same mission and all want to have a great time.

  • Be open. We’re on a pursuit of excellence and in the process we’ll be challenging you and ourselves physically, emotionally, and mentally. To get the most out of this trip, we encourage you to lean in.
